The hamburgers are delicious and always served hot! Their fish sandwich is awesome as well. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The service is fast and reliable. Definitely worth the price and time.

It's a tiny place but please do not let that stop from visiting because you will not be disappointed. This is my go to burger place when someone wants a burger. Be willing to wait a little longer when you see people hanging outside but like I said, "DO NOT LET THAT STOP YOU, GO GET THAT BURGER!!"

Yes, do this. All things in life should be this good. Nothing better than the smell of the Motz cologne you wear all day from spending just five minutes in that place, and don't dare set that sack of burgers on your car seat on your drive back to work, do it once and you'll know what I mean. Slider heaven!

I have always had several Cheeze Burgers and fries from Motts's Burgers. Myself and my late husband George went in the area would stop by for a hot , tasty burger. The staff, and owners are always happy to see us. Keep up the good work. Lynette

Great little take out place. Gotta get the double cheeseburger and tried the crispy chicken sandwich and fries. I'll be back for sure. So good. Straight up no frills slider. Crispy chicken sandwich could have used some more sauce though!

94 years. Finally got to experience the deliciousness. A single with cheese is all I need. The onion rings were on point. A great tradition.

Motz's is one of those Detroit white porcelain slider joints that are basically all over the Metro. It might just be the best one. French Fries ($3.49) - Very similar to a McDonald's fry. Lightly salted, decent crisp, rather thin. Interior isn't that fluffy. It's an okay fry. Double Cheeseburger ($4) - The sliders come with the classic mustard, ketchup, onion, pickle combo, with two nice thick 5/8 inch patties that fill most of the bun, good beefy taste. The melted cheese covers the rest of the ingredients perfectly. Everything comes together on a nice steamed bun. It's a bit more expensive than other slider places, but the patties are just that much bigger as well. This is the quintessential Detroit style slider and probably the best of the bunch. I don't crave sliders very often, but when I do, I'll be going to Motz again.

Sliders are always amazing. Can't go wrong with Motz's a neighborhood tradition for over 40+ years great staff and fresh baked cookies on Wednesdays are a must try son.

Came in and I was greeted by a very nice person who took our order. We got there at 11:30. Thank God because it got packed at noon. People waiting out the door. These burgers were just flat out. Excellent! And maybe the next best thing was just watching how they make them. I cannot wait to go back, and frankly, I am craving them right now as I write this! One of the few things in life where the buildup is not as good as the fact. These burgers are as good or better than what people say.

I've been going to this landmark of a burger joint since the early 70's when the grill was in the corner of the place and burgers were .40 cents. No fries back then just a bag of chips! I visited this great place celebrating my brothers passing as he too was a loyal customer of Motz's! Nothing better than a double with cheese. Know nothing about their fries because I've never had them and will only have a bag of Better Made chips!
